Passing Strange

The FPA Theatre Program presents the Tony Award-Winning musical by Stew and Heidi Rodewald. A young black man from Los Angeles feels like a foreigner in his own country. He travels to Europe in search of his artistic identity, or what he calls, 'the real.' He feels acceptance for the first time and considers emigrating, but in the end discovers that the only way to be true to himself is to embrace his American heritage.
